About Antewise Pets & How We Verify

Antewise Pets is an educational reference for pet owners. We answer one question at a time — can my dog eat this? — with the verdict up front, the limits explained, and the source named.

The three-field discipline

1. The answer. Safe / Caution / Toxic — stated in the first screen, not after two scrolls of ads.
2. The source. We only cite official veterinary references: the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center, the Merck Veterinary Manual, AVMA, FDA/openFDA, and established veterinary-reviewed publishers (AKC, PetMD). Blogs and forums are not sources.
3. The date. Every page shows the date its facts were last verified. Veterinary guidance changes; our dates make that visible.
